01 Architects & designers

You draw it. We build it to the line. When your client asks who should build, give them a builder who prices your drawing line by line within 72 hours of full drawings, checks the steel before every pour and changes nothing without your sign-off. You keep the design, the fee and the client.

• 3% of the construction value for a referred build, 5% of the fee for referred drawings, 3D or a BOQ.
• It works both ways: when one of our clients wants an architect-designed house, we introduce them to our partner architects first.

02 Civil & structural engineers

Recommend the builder. Stay on the job as our consultant. Introduce the client and we retain you as a part-time consulting engineer on that project, calling on your expertise as the build goes up: design reviews, value engineering and site consultations at the key structural stages.

• A consulting fee of 3% of the construction value, paid within 7 days of each stage payment we receive from the client.
• A one-page consultancy agreement sets out your role and fee. Your drawings stay your responsibility; the construction is ours.

03 Quantity surveyors

Stay on the numbers you started. Introduce the client and we retain you as a part-time consulting quantity surveyor on that project, calling on you as the build goes up: BOQ and cost reviews, value engineering, and measurement and valuation checks at key stages. Every GRIT project is already priced line by line and billed against measured work, so you'll be working with numbers you can check.

04 Agents, land sellers & others

You meet them first. The people who sell land, arrange housing loans or help families move home are often the first to hear "now we need a builder". Introduce them to us and we take it from there: a free site visit, a priced BOQ and a builder they can watch from anywhere.

05 Join the programme

Tell us who you are. We'll call you, send the right one-page agreement for your profession and give you your partner code, usually within a working day.

06 Refer a client

Send us the client here or on WhatsApp. We record it with the date, confirm it back to you, and contact the client, usually within a working day.

07 How rewards work

• The referral is dated when we record it, and we confirm it back to you in writing.
• It stays valid for 6 months. If the client signs a contract with us within that time, the reward is yours.
• The first referral recorded counts. If two people refer the same client, the earlier one is rewarded. Clients already in touch with us before your referral don't qualify.
• Rewards follow the client's payments: 3% of the construction value, or 5% of a design or BOQ fee, paid within 7 days of each stage payment we receive. For consulting engineers and quantity surveyors, the 3% is a consulting fee paid the same way.
• Everything is in writing: a one-page partner agreement when you join, or a consultancy agreement for consulting engineers and quantity surveyors, sets out these terms.
